Behind the brownie

So what makes Love Brownies so outrageously delicious? (And they really, really are.) It’s no secret: we bake each one individually, by hand, using the best ingredients we can get.

It’s been that way ever since our founder Chantal Teal started baking them in her kitchen in Yorkshire.

Chantal’s one of those people who just loves making people happy. And she found that her brownies make people very happy indeed.

Not just because they’re so gloriously rich and indulgent. But also because she packaged every box up so beautifully – each with a hand-written note.

There are a few more of us now, of course. Well, more than a few. We have over 20 people on the team – with Chantal keeping her beady eye on everything, making sure our standards never so much as wobble.

Chantal and her husband Lee have made Love Brownies a roaring success. We’ve won a list of awards as long as your arm. And as well as our website, we now have a briskly expanding network of shops and cafés. (See if there’s one near you. If not, there may well be soon!) 

Most importantly, we still bake every brownie individually, by hand, with the utmost love and care.

Because whether you get sent a box of Love Brownies (lucky you), or pop into one of our cafés for a treat, all we want to do is make you happy. Always.
