We’re based in the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales: all rugged hills, thick woods and purple heather. It’s lovely - why not come and visit us at The Brownie Barn for coffee, brunch or the obvious?
We started small, but with big ideas, and we’re growing fast. We're pretty sure we’re powered by chocolate and smiles: that’s what gets us up in the morning.
Chantal’s a chef by trade and our Head Baker. After five years studying Catering and Management, she spent a decade honing her skills in Europe, Australia and the UK.
‘My family has catering roots,’ she says. ‘It’s in my blood. I think a gift of food is one of the few wonderful things you can always offer with pride and accept with pleasure. I’m not really a businesswoman – I just love having the opportunity to make people smile. That’s what matters.’
With the arrival of her first child, Chantal set about creating a business that built upon her desire to make people smile. She spent nap times and evenings baking the most delicious brownies and packaging them in beautiful boxes with handwritten notes. And so, Love Brownies was born.
Today, Chantal leads a small, dedicated, expert team of brownie chefs at The Brownie Barn. And an equally gifted team of office staff, making sure your brownies get packaged up, sent out and delivered bang on time: beautiful, fresh and delicious.
